This scarf pattern was made with the idea of simplicity in mind. I love a one skein project with repetitive stitches. great for when you just want to relax. I also love the look of the chevron stitch. Once you get through the first two rows, this project repeats the same row until you’re done! This is a great project for anyone looking to practice basic stitches with an easy and beautiful twist. Read on for detailed instructions or follow the link below to purchase a PDF version:

Instructions
Ch 38 St
Row 1: 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch, *sk 2 ch, dc in next 5 ch, 3 dc into next ch, dc into next 5 ch* rep 1 more time, sk 2 ch, dc into next 3 ch, 2 dc into last ch. ch 2, turn (36dc)
Row 2: Dc in same st as ch2, dc into next 3 st, *sk 2 st, dc into next 5 st, 3 dc into next st (tip: middle st from the 3dc cluster from the row before), dc into next 5 st* rep 1 more time, sk 2 st, dc into next 3 st, 2 dc into last st, ch 2, turn. (36 dc)
Row 3: Rep row 2 as described above until the last 2dc. Place them through the top of ch2 of the previous row instead. This helps keep the angle of the chevron tilted.
Repeat row 3 until row 94 or until the preferred length of scarf is achieved. Fasten off ( make a sc, cut the yarn a few inches from the piece, pull the yarn through the sc until a knot is formed). Weave in ends.
